Friendship Bracelets For Horse Club Friends

Friendship bracelets have been around for a long time but kids still love making them!

If you have a group of kids from very young up to teens and adults, this might be a fun project for your group.

You can find new colors, shapes, and sizes of beads and then choose a theme or go freestyle.

Choosing a Theme

Making Friends in the Club – Everyone makes a few bracelets with their name on it. Then everyone goes around and talks to someone new and they exchange bracelets. It makes it fun and easy to remember everyone!

Horse Tack – Everyone makes a bracelet with the name of a piece of horse tack on it such as “saddle” or “bridle”. Trade them around and then everyone has to talk about the one that they got. Kids could be asked to do a small presentation during the next meeting on the one that they picked.

A Sense of Unity – Everyone could make bracelets that match! As a club, pick out a few “club” colors. They could all be done with the same pattern or everyone chooses their own using those colors. They could feature their name or the club’s name. Wear them to a special event like county fair or to a clinic!

Once you have all your supplies ready, making Friendship Bracelets is easy!

Step 1

Step 2

Decide what colors and beads you’re going to use.

Step 3

Pick out the word or words that you want to use and find all the letters that you need. Make sure you have all the right ones before you start.

Step 4

Put it all together making sure that you have the letters in the correct order for how it will look once it’s on you. Quick Tip: The first and last beads that you put on should be small ones.
